ABOUT
I am a speech and language therapist trained in France, Belgium, and Canada, I have been practicing for over fifteen years with children, adults, and older adults. My international background allows me to combine the analytical European approach with the pragmatic North American perspective.
Based in Brussels, I work in France, Belgium, and Austria, both in person and via telepractice. I also support expatriate families living in multilingual environments, taking into account the cultural and linguistic specificities of each situation.
As a trainer and clinical supervisor, I am committed to sharing knowledge and pursuing ongoing professional development to provide each patient with a personalized, up-to-date, and compassionate approach to therapy.
I am a member of the Fédération Nationale des Orthophonistes (FNO) in France and the Aloïs Memory Network, and a former member of the Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ).
WHAT IS SPEECH
AND LANGUAGE THERAPY?
The components of speech production include: phonation, producing sound; resonance; intonation, variance of pitch; and voice, including aeromechanical components of respiration.
The components of language include: phonology, manipulating sound according to the rules of a language; morphology, understanding and using minimal units of meaning; syntax, constructing sentences by using languages; grammar rules; semantics, interpreting signs or symbols of communication to construct meaning; and pragmatics, social aspects of communication.
Speech and language therapy is concerned with the management of disorders of speech, language, and communication and swallowing in children and adults.

I provide a wide range of services, mainly on an individual basis, but also as support for individuals, families, support groups, and providing information for the general public.
Speech services begin with initial screening for communication disorders and continue with assessment and diagnosis, consultation for the provision of advice regarding management, intervention and treatment, and provision counselling.
I choose the techniques that seem the most appropriate according to the difficulties of my clients but also according to their taste and interests. It is very important to me that my clients learn and train with fun.
